SE T303(my cute phone)

May these minutes of my writing be dedicated solely to my cute little cell phone which I lost today...
It's rather peculiar but there is a sense of great loss today when I have lost my most precious little gadget on my way to office... Even though it's just some metal and plastic pieces combined together to make communication possible, it had a personality of its own. It was my friend who was always with me, 24 hrs of the day, awaiting the precious calls I received... Even though I was very hard on it by never switching it off, it never got mad at me and malfunctioned ...It never asked to be taken to the doctor even once for a checkup. It communicated my affection, anger, joys, anxiety, love, sadness , my spirit effortlessly... It knew my vices and virtues like no one would . It kept all my personal confidences and pictures of precious moments with it safely which I would never get to see again... But yet, people still tell me, " its just a phone, get a new one... "
My phone was one of the smallest in its species ( just a little bigger than a match-box), but extremely strong and sturdy. It had the look and attitude of a Knight where all other cell phones looked ordinary pawns. It was very cute and small yet had an armor of pure steel... Even Chimba (my dog) ,who is famous for eating, chewing just about anything including metal, couldn't breach its defenses after going at it for more than 20 mins.
Even with bare minimum functionality, it still managed to attract eyes upon its sleek, glistening metallic body... And managed to keep me engaged when I felt like taking a break from everything, with its meager but powerful web surfer, and uncomplicated yet gripping games.
When I had to take Ben for his walks, I could simply slip it into my pocket and be sure that even if I had to Run after Ben , it would never slip out.
Many people showed me their new phones which had the latest and the best technologies, but I always smirked at those... No phone was even the least comparable to what I possessed and I never thought there would come a time when I would think of replacing him. He served me like no other, the best he could, and worked best as a phone and my favorite companion even though I used to drop him daily without warning in all strange places... But he was always ready for that whenever it happened and was quick to recover. At most he would simply go off, but would always recoup when I switched him on.
He was a gem amidst stones of varied colors, sizes and weights...
Wherever he maybe today, he still carries my memories... and I would continue to praise my sweet and cute knight, SE T303...
